The ACQ solution:
Today, many decks are built with the new A.C.Q. (Alkaline Cooper Quaternary)
pressure treated wood. But what do you use for ledger flashing? If
you are using either aluminum or light steel with new pressure treated
wood, then corrosion can be 2 to 5 times higher than with old acid
treated wood.
